About the Item

These exceptional pine bookcases with glass panel doors are a great find as it is difficult to find a matching pair. The professionally applied (newer) blue (with gray undertones) painted finish is lightly distressed to fit with the character of the pair. One notices the symmetry and balance of the styling in the upper glass panels and solid panel along the base of each cabinet door. In photos, you will see the three interior (removable) shelves making them ideal for display. This pair of bookcases have been restored, are sturdy and ready to use. Old locks and keys work, somewhat stiffly. All scratches, cracks, dings, nicks (now painted over) and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of these display cabinets.
