ANTIQUE A&C "KNOUSE" bookcase from the early 1900s (Stickley era)
This is an antique circa early 1900s TWO-door ARTS and CRAFTS bookcase with thru tenon construction, with good original finish. The bookcase was constructed in Oneida NY and is signed with a Maker’s Mark. The piece is in good condition with real THROUGH TENON construction and 8 pans of glass on each door and NOT one large pc of glass as you can see on reproduction
so called STICKLEY Au which is Stickley DESIGN only.

The back is in good condition with NO damage compared to many pieces of furniture with damaged backs selling in auction for very high prices.
Each door has 8 pans of glass, not one large pane of glass to each door. The chairs are PERIOD means from the early 1900s and NO REPRODUCTION made in the last 30 yrs or so. This cabinet was made with REAL thru tenon construction and not fake decoration to look like thru tenon to fool the buyers and make them think it was made by Gustav Stickley.
