Antique Edwardian quality mahogany cylinder bookcase having a moulded shaped cornice, figured mahogany frieze above a pair of quality mahogany astral glazed doors opening to reveal three adjustable shelves above a cylinder kneehole desk. The desk boasts a quality mahogany cylinder with original brass knobs opening to reveal a fitted interior of eight drawers and pigeon holes. The writing surface pulls out with two original ink wells above a kneehole compartment with four figured mahogany cockbeeded drawers with original ornate brass ring handles. It stands on four square tapering legs with spade feet.
A super example of excellent quality and desirable proportions.
