We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely hand carved Victorian Ebonised and Giltwood library bookcase

A very old, well made and period piece, the carving is very ornate and follows over to the side panels depicting flowers. The piece has the original ebonising with gold gilt detailing, the glass is the original water glass so it has that wonderful wavy look and feel in the right light
In terms of the condition, it is lovely, really very nice, we have cleaned waxed and polished it, naturally it has a very period finish, one of the glass panes has two cracks, tricky to see as its on the papered section
