About the Item
A charming and extremely well made antique Victorian open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1880-1890 period.
It is of outstanding quality, very solid and sturdily built. It is large and impressive, with plenty of storage space for books and objects, the shelves are adjustable and removable. The wood has a beautiful colour tone and has acquired a gorgeous patina over the years.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
