Classical Style Bookcases and Libraries by Jeff Aird, in Solid Wood.
Handmade and Handcarved in Ireland to Precise Drawings.
Brass or Steel Ironmongery.
All items and elements are adaptable, all variations possible.
Can be supplied with frieze/cornice/skirting/plinth pre-cut (mitred) or in lengths to allow precise fitting on site.
Supplied with fillers (can be seen in photos, either side of units) to allow for uneven walls (important in older buildings) or building imperfections.
Handmade in Co. Offaly, Ireland by master cabinet maker.
Hand Painted by Irish guilder, or can be wood finished.
Respect for Natural materials and for the know-how of Craftspeople is always at the heart of any Jeff Aird piece or project.
Jeff Aird began modelling installations of opulent woodwork by British icon Clive Christian in 2006; first in Dublin and then from a flagship showroom in Paris, leading to interior design projects of increasing scale and complexity in Saudi Arabia, USA, South Africa and all over Europe.
Tasked to create miniature wooden scale models and concept sketches of complete properties in Kyoto and Osaka for a famous Japanese family in 2013, Jeff opened a dedicated studio in Paris.
Bespoke stairways, porticos, intricate flooring, furniture, lighting made by outstanding artisans in Ireland, England, France, Italy have since been designed and shipped abroad by Jeff and his team, to be installed by the hardworking artisans who made them.
This combined responsibility of design and build, often in foreign places, has afforded Jeff Aird great experience in what works and what doesn’t:
