About the Item

This exquisite midcentury Danish Modern rosewood bookcase cabinet was designed by the Danish designer Erik Brouer for Brouer Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. The rich rosewood grain instantly elevates any space, bringing a sense of warmth and sophistication to your home. The bookcase is composed of three individual units and the top unit with two open cases can be used as a stand alone piece. The top two units, feature recessed open adjustable shelving and a lockable, drop-down, writing desk or bar serving surface, that protrudes 9.5" from the cabinet drawers. The overall depth of the ledge surface is 29". The surface height is 20" from the floor. The third lower unit features 6 drawers with recessed eyelet pulls. In the living room, this piece effortlessly transitions into a sleek bar cabinet, while showcasing your favorite books, ceramics, or art on the adjustable shelves above.
