This large bleached oak bookcase is statuesque in size and is impressive with carved family crest with crown, half column details and more.
At 8' tall, the 3 glass door panes add to its visual impact displaying any collection held within; adjustable shelving in upper cabinet adds to the versatility of this bookcase.
This cabinet is built in 2 sections, making it easier to install the heavy oak lower cabinet with three doors and the upper display cabinet with glass doors.
Age related cracks and signs of wear/distress are expected in an antique that has been used for generations such as this.
Some of locks still function with key, a key used as pull in remaining doors. Nine keys are included.
This antique oak bookcase is restored, strong and stable, ready to be used and enjoyed.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation (typical in old oak furniture) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive display cabinet. Pegs for shelving may have shifted in size/fit over the years.
