About the Item
This gracious dome top country French bibliothèque is made of carved golden oak. It has two arched top removable doors with inset scrolled panels and scrolled openings with traditional inset chicken wire. This beautiful piece has its original brass rooster head hardware. The doors open with no centre post to an interior lined in gold damask trimmed with gold gimp. It has four new shelves with height adjusting hardware. The removable crown sits on a floral vine and floral carved curved panel. It has wooden peg construction and stands delicately on its original cabriole legs.
