About the Item
This is a SUPERB two-section set of Barrister Cases made by GLOBE WERNICKE in Cincinnati OH. It is their size D10 1/4. The set is in excellent condition with nice top leaded glass with no damage. The doors open and close freely. There have been no repairs or replaced parts. The bookcase is made up of the two sections, one with plain glass and one with leaded glass, along with matching top and bottom pieces. The set is expandable by adding more bookcase sections.
We had another two section Barrister we sold on Dibs for $440 but this one is with great original finish with not a drop of overcoat and as you can see with original patina. This maker also made barrister bookcases in England, mostly lower quality.
