About the Item
A fine Regency Grand Tour architectural open bookcase. The upper section is open fronted without doors and flanked by three classical half columns and has adjustable shelving. The pediment is of architectural form. The base is low waisted and fitted with four opening cupboard doors. The bookcase is specialist polished mahogany with water gilded decoration.
