About the Item

We are is delighted to offer this lovely pair of English circa 1940s oak library legal bookcases with glazed sliding doors and carved tops A very large pair, these will easily accommodate and entire families large home library and more. The glass doors slide with ease as they are on sliders. The tops of the bookcases have a nice understated carved detail We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they will have normal age use related patina marks here and there. One of the doors have been replaced Dimensions each Height 170cm Width 187cm each total 374cm Depth 36cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
