We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely original George III circa 1760 solid mahogany corner cupboard
A very good looking and decorative piece, its hard to believe that this has been in use for over 250 years, it’s a testament to how utilitarian and versatile it is
We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, the timber has a glorious patina that can only be achieved by genuine age and honest use
Structurally the cabinet is just fine, at some point there has been a small section cut out of the bottom back most likely to cover a plug socket, its at the bottom back so no one will ever see it, there is also a small piece of replacement beading that has been fitted on the top door, otherwise its 100% perfect for the age
