About the Item
Pair 19th Century Flemish Bookcases with Etched Glass will make a perfectly symmetrical style statement for your favorite room! Crafted by master artisans from indigenous old-growth oak, each features a prominent upper tier fitted with etched glass depicting a Romanesque urn bursting with flowers and foliage surrounded by an intricate framework with rounded upper corners. The backdrop for the glass are amazing crown moldings, exquisitely carved pilasters above and below serving as corner posts, elaborate and meticulously carved lower cabinet door panels, and a flared center section that is beautifully carved and fitted with a drawer centered with a lion's head serving as the drawer pull. The design is narrow enough to fit in niches next to a fireplace, cozy corners, or flanking windows ~ pretty much anywhere you need them. Two adjustable shelves with face trim and one shelf below in each cabinet ensure you can display and store to your heart's content.
