About the Item

Gorgeous mid-century library bookcases in Oak. This pair of vintage bookcases have angled shelves to allow the books to tilt upwards slightly. The shelves can be used as one pair or a single double sided bookcase. Gorgeous functional piece made in solid oak and oak faced plywood. the shelves have a deep curved top edge which has a contrasting black striped edge. Gorgeous colour and patina to the oak. A lovely 50's piece of furniture. Overall size 91 cm wide, 21cm deep and 79cm high. Good vintage condition, some small chips to the sides in places, the top edges and back sides of the shelves are pretty rough, but this doesn't distract from the pieces overall. they may have been attached together at the back at one point. We can ship the bookcases worldwide in a custom-made case.
