Rare Modular Italian Bookcase Set by BBPR - 1940s Design with Brass and Glass Details An exceptional and elegant set of three modular bookcases designed by the renowned Italian architectural group BBPR in the 1940s, this piece is a masterpiece of rationalist Italian design, combining versatility, craftsmanship, and visual sophistication. Each module is crafted in wood using the distinctive grissinatura technique-a refined ribbed texture that gives the surfaces depth, rhythm, and a uniquely luxurious finish. The design features clean architectural lines and subtle decorative details, such as brass hardware and glass accents, which further elevate the quality and aesthetic presence of the piece. MODULES Height: 181 cm, Width: 91 cm, Depth: 44 cm The bookcase is composed of three vertical modular units, each of which can be reconfigured or repositioned freely, allowing for a wide range of layouts to suit your space. Within the structure, you'll find drop-front compartments, one of which serves as a bar cabinet, perfect for storing glassware or bottles. These compartments open with original brass keys, all of which are included.
