We are delighted to offer for sale this sublime circa 1880 antique Victorian burr walnut library bookcase with gothic style glazed doors.
The bookcase is exquisite, deigned for a library but naturally it can sit anywhere, it is finished in Burr Walnut which is rare for an antique piece, the top sections has been painted in green which is very much the fashion now for library pieces as it allows them to work better in a contemporary setting
Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, they will have normal age and use related patina marks here and there, please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around the condition
