I have viewed, bought and sold hundreds if not thousands of these bookcase tables over the years, I have never come across a Anglo-Indian example before. It's ornately carved all over, the feet are a work of art as is the top, even the inside of the table which you don't see when books are stocked is carved, this would have been a no expensive spared commission for a visiting dignitary or high ranking military official
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be some very light age and use related patina marks here and there from genuine age and honest use, this is in period perfect condition
