Victorian Walnut Open Bookcase with Enclosed Ends – c.1870 Item Code: S26-134 A handsome Victorian walnut open bookcase dating to circa 1870, featuring a central open section flanked by two panelled cupboard ends. The centre offers three fixed shelves ideal for books or display, framed by simple mouldings and crowned with a stepped cornice. The flanking cupboards with arched moulded panels add visual symmetry and provide enclosed storage, all set on a sturdy plinth base. The warm grain and mellow patina of the walnut enhance its timeless character, making it a highly functional and elegant piece for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
