A characterful early 19th century continental buffet, a perfect example of our Antiquarium aesthetic, which celebrates old-world elegance "spoiled a little to make it livable".
The simple, stately neoclassical form is entirely enlivened by its original painted finish, which has achieved a magnificent and authentic distressed patina over nearly two centuries. Highly versatile, generous in scale featuring one shelf on each side, this buffet is ideal for use as a statement sideboard in a dining room, a unique console in a large entrance hall, or a charming storage cabinet in a sophisticated country house setting.
