This vintage mid-century credenza was designed and manufactured by 'beautility furniture' in England during the 1950s. A posh, stylishly designed credenza, the burl wood melamine veneered cabinet rests on tapered legs. The case consists of two outer drawers, the left fitted and lined with green felt for silver service. Beneath, two cabinet doors with raised paneled handles open to cupboards with interior shelving for additional storage. Available today, this magnificent Mid-Century Modern credenza is entirely made of Caviuna hardwood and consists of six doors, three storage cabinets, six shelves and four drawers. The sides are curved and the structure rests on four legs. The wood has been refinished and besides the marks of age, the piece is in excellent condition. With this Brazilian Modern piece, Giuseppe Scapinelli highlights one of his favorite wood species, the caviuna of light blond appearance with darker veins that the designer knows how to play to form geometric patterns on the front that offers a contrast giving charm and lightness with the legs designed in curves.
