About the Item

A French two-door wooden buffet with painted top from the 19th century. This antique cabinet from France features a rectangular-shaped top over a case fitted with a pair of nicely carved single panel doors, and is raised upon a stacked molding flat base. This piece has been scraped to show more of a natural wood finish, with contrasting top having old black paint, and the base is mostly brown with red tones. This 19th century French cabinet offers simplicity and elegance inherent to this buffet that would be perfect for a cottage or country home look.
