About the Item

19th century oak dessert buffet from England with wonderfully hand carved decoration. The top has a hand carved and pierced backsplash with a central eagle flanked by florals and fruit, following down to three shelves, all with hand carved and bevelled edges over hand carved decorated aprons which contains single drawers and are separated by simple flat legs in the back with hand carved decoration as well and hand turned and carved shelf supports in the front in bulbous shapes. The feet are hand carved and turned as well.
