A handsome French Provincial "Buffet Deux Corps" crafted in Normandy around 1830. This exquisite two-part cabinet is made from richly figured burled ash, showcasing the wood's natural swirling grain and lustrous depth. The upper section features two paneled cupboard doors above a pair of dovetailed drawers, resting over a lower section with two additional paneled cabinet doors. Retaining its original brass escutcheons and hardware, the piece boasts a beautifully aged patina with a warm honeyed tone, refined by careful restoration. Elegant yet understated, the clean lines and solid form embody the rustic sophistication characteristic of Provincial French furniture.
