About the Item

Louis Philippe credenza hand-made in northern Italy in the early 1800s using walnut. The buffet follows the typical lines of the style, with a row of thin drawers with curved fronts, over three doors. The door fronts are decorated with hand-carved molding, providing some depth to a very long, linear piece. The top is made of three chamfered panels framed in flat molding , the sides are flat and a baseboard finishes the piece on the bottom. The credenza still sits on its original bracket feet. Overall this is a beautiful, large and elegant piece that will provide plenty of storage space, and will look great in an office, entryway or dining room. It's lines and color make it a piece that will fit well with antiques as well as modern or contemporary furniture.
