More information coming soon… This beautiful petit buffet with a marble top has a false front center door that is a pull-out seat, allowing it to be used as a bureau. Hand-carved from walnut circa 1750, this is a period Louis XV piece of furniture. A pair of shapely doors flanks the center pull-out seat, with three belt drawers beneath the pink hued marble.

Repaired: The marble has an old restoration that was strengthened more recently. Areas of the walnut have been restored more recently, most noticeably, the feet of the pull-out seat. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Strong antique condition. Light nicks, losses, and old woodworm. Age separations after old marble restoration (strengthened more recently). Recent repairs and wood fills. One key for the two functional door locks. No keys for drawers.
