About the Item
This is a beautiful compact solid oak Welsh dresser from the early 20th century. The welsh dresser has a small cupboard below and a slim and elegant plate rack above, with the most elegant cornice detail. Beautiful tapering legs which end in a pretty ball foot. The construction is beautiful and light throughout, with considered details, like the panelled back, slim worktop and extended cornice. The cupboard has a working lock
key.
The cabinet is in very good condition for its age, structurally solid, and has a lovely dark oak color. The table top does have some light wear in places and the back plate to the key was changed at some point and you can still see the position of the old back plate.
