About the Item
This credenza from the SoShiro Pok collection is an oak veneer storage unit embellished with intricate and complex beading artistry, leather, and marble top. The beadwork is done on fine Italian nubuck leather panels that are then upholstered onto a beautifully engineered piece of cabinetry built in Venice, Italy.
The Pok collection celebrates the artistry of hand-crafted beadwork made by Pokot women in Northwest Kenya. Shiro Muchiri, the designer, combines their artistic cultural heritage with contemporary design. The grey colours of the sideboard reflect the arid climate of the Pokot habitat and the complex and vibrant beadwork expresses the crafting abilities of the women.
With nine different storage drawers, this cabinet makes the perfect credenza, sideboard, butler, or buffet. It is shipped in two pieces, a wooden cabinet and a marble top, and is quick and easy to assemble. There are several beading patterns and colours available. This Pok collection credenza has the Cameroon orange beading.

The marble top can be customised to a wide variety of marble types. Finishes to the marble can be polished or satin. The thickness of the marble is 3cm. The beaded nubuck leather panels on the vertical drawers can be customised within certain colourways and patterns.
An additional 15% to the cost of the contemporary credenza may apply for customisation of either the marble top and/or beaded nubuck leather panels.
