About the Item

This early nineteenth century French Restauration period walnut buffet features a grey marble top with white veining. A single drawer of dovetail construction with book matched front fits into the apron below the marble top. The drawer is fitted with bronze drop ring drawer pulls detailed with a central florette. Two doors below are flanked by half columns and open to allow access to its interior with two adjustable shelves. With an unusual width of only 42.5 inches and depth of 21.5 inches, this buffet is ideal for small scale living and blends beautifully with both modern and contemporary interiors. Includes one key with functioning lock. c. 1820.
