About the Item

An English Georgian period oak buffet from the 18th century, with single central door, two drawers, carved arching motifs and brass hardware. Created in England during the Georgian era in the 18th century, this oak buffet features a rectangular top sitting above a single door flanked with faux doors, all carved with arching motifs. This door opens to reveal unfinished inner shelves while the lower section, slightly bigger in dimensions, showcases two drawers. They present a nail construction and are fitted with C-scroll brass handles. The sides are plain and the back, unfinished, reveals the piece's good age. With its clean lines, nice proportions and good age, this English Georgian period oak single door and two drawers buffet from the 18th century will make for a great addition to any home, particularly displayed in a living room.
