About the Item
A beautifully detailed Antique Dutch Mahogany and Marquetry Three-Tier Dumbwaiter, dating to the late 18th or early 19th century.
It consists of three graduated circular tray tops, each inlaid with an intricate scrollwork pattern at the center and pretty floral detailing around the outer edge. All are supported by a smart, fluted central column with contrasting inlaid stringing. The entire piece stands on an elegant tripod base with sabre legs, featuring delicate flower inlays. The legs terminate in petite castors.
A lovely, functional antique table that has been restored in our workshops but shows marks and wear consistent with its age.
The tray diameters are: 36cm, 46cm, and 56cm.
