About the Item

A stunning French late 19th century Empire st. flamed mahogany buffet. This three drawers and four door buffet has the original interior shelf and is raised by four elongated supports. The front support columns have richly chased ormolu bottom caps and top capitols. Each door has an ormolu keyhole escutcheon below the drawers at the frieze. All below a black Belgian marble top. All original patina and gilt.
