About the Item

A handsome and very attractive Italian 18th century Walnut buffet, from Tuscany. This wonderful four drawer four door buffet with its original hardware is supported on six scallop shaped Walnut feet. Above the mottled edge straight front apron are two doors with additional mottled edges, crest shaped Bronze keyhole escutcheons, and pierced palmette designed pulls in the center. The two doors on the outside are decorated identically to the two central doors with their mottled edges and Bronze hardware. All four doors are separated by rectangular panels with mottled edges. Above each door are drawers having similar designs as the doors below them with mottled edges, keyhole escutcheons, and a hook shaped Bronze pull in the center. Each drawer is separated by a square panel with an additional hook shaped Bronze pull. The smooth top displays mottled edges and stunning wood grains throughout.
