Two symmetrical doors are adorned with deeply carved concentric medallions, each centered within a bevel-edged square that projects from the surface like a wooden echo. Between them, five central drawers offer rhythmic contrast with their horizontal fluting, lending a linear tension to the rounded volumes flanking them. In the style of Charles Dudouyt, this piece reflects the postwar fascination with medieval forms reinterpreted through modernist clarity.
