Crafted in the 21st century by John Brigham using reclaimed wood and materials, this painted pine buffet offers a distinctive blend of rustic charm and industrial character. The piece features a rectangular zinc top detailed with visible rivets, adding tactile interest and reinforcing the utilitarian aesthetic. The lightly distressed painted finish gives the pine body a soft, timeworn appeal, while metal braces and hardware provide a contrasting industrial edge. The façade presents two doors fitted with iron ring pulls and surface-mounted strap hinges. These doors open to reveal a painted interior with a planked back and full-width storage compartment below. Raised on sturdy block feet and designed with clean lines, this buffet balances vintage farmhouse warmth with a practical, modern sensibility.
