British colonial style bow front buffet with plenty of storage and high decorative appeal having a burnt bamboo frame and grasscloth panels all around under geometric bamboo designs.

The Shelter Credenza follows the traces of ocas, highlighting the sliding doors in Cabreuva wood, that is a reinterpretation of the traditional mats woven with buriti straw. “This braid evokes the strength and resilience of this people and the beauty of their culture”, recalls the artist. "I like the moments of sharing, where without realizing we learn at the same time that we teach, whether by words, looks or demonstrations. With a design inspired by the oca structure, this piece represents the family, the shelter, where everyone protects them selves from the cold an rain, where they get together to sleep, where the young women go to their seclusion and is also the place that keeps intact the traditions, identity and culture fo the Mehinako people, living in the Xingu Indigenous Territory.
