About the Item

A Swedish Baroque cabinet with an overhanging pediment cornice, intricately carved and recessed panels across the front and doors. Four small unique diamond-shaped cut-outs adorn the front. Doors open to reveal ample upper and lower cabinet space, both with two shelves. Original iron keyhole cover, lock and three hinges with snake-like etchings (fourth iron hinge is plain and later). Cabinet sits atop turned ball feet. Exterior is tastefully repainted in black and the interior in pale blue to reflect an antique patina.
