About the Item

A Swedish Rococo cabinet. The bonnet top consists of an impressive overhanging arched pediment cornice. Upper section has three shelves and three small drawers (with teardrop brass pulls). Lower section has two small drawers atop one large drawer. Upper door fronts have detailed recessed wood carvings. Cabinet rests on large cabriolet legs with square feet. Original iron locks and ornate brass hardware. Tastefully repainted exterior with a light grey patina and soft blue (upper cabinet) interior.
