About the Item
New finds from a Kominka in Ibaraki pref, Japan.
This mid-size wooden closet is a product of 1930s - 40s (early Showa period) estimate from the style, conditions, also hearing from the familiy of former owner.
The antique wavy glasses remains in front doors (see pictures), and the original lacquer remains in nice wabi sabi touch,
which are bringing us to the era that is originally used.
Made of premium quality Sugi cedar close to the heartwood, it's still durable enough for actual use.
