This is a Georgian Chinese Chippendale style red and gilt painted display cabinet or vitrine. It is two pieces with two adjustable interior glass shelves. The pieces has elaborate fretwork highlighted with gilt chinoiserie details on a red background. It is unmarked and dates to the later part of the 20th century.
