About the Item

A two part French cupboard or “meuble a deux corps” in carved oak. The lime green over grayish cream hand painting is original. The glass top has three delicious scrolled shelves. They were upholstered in a leafy scroll cotton with high-end gimp by a MidCentury designer to match the interior. There is significant wear to the painted surface, which enhances the appearance. The shallow depth of the case and the 36” width make the piece suitable for most locations.
