About the Item
A very well made and decorative Aesthetic style double door cabinet with cookie corners and conforming fine yellow marble top. The doors with floral inlays in the corners and raised oval panels painted with romantic scenes- a beauty writing on a tree trunk and a troubador with stringed instrument. Several porcelain plaques decorated with courting couples. Overall brass mounts with a foliate frieze, figural corner mounts and foliate framed mask on the serpentine skirt rail.

Condition: Please see photos for details. Various signs of age include some nicks and rubs to the case and wear to the stone and the feet which do not affect the colorful and dramatic presentation.
