AN AMERICAN SHERATON REVIVAL PAINTED AND CROSSBANDED
BURL WALNUT SERPENTINE FRONT CABINET
AMERICAN, MID-20TH CENTURY
A good quality burl walnut serpentine-front side cabinet.
Crossbanded panels, one frieze narrow drawer to the centre
And two deeper drawers bellow, concave cupboard doors
To either side and raised on six tapering column legs.
All painted in grisaille
colours with classical motifs.
De-acquisition from US embassy a few decades ago.
Dimensions: Height: 35.5" in (90 cm) Width: 59.75" in (152 cm)
Depth: 23.75" in (62 cm)
Generally in good solid condition, a few spots repair to top edge cross veneer
and a small blemish area to lower section of right cupboard door.
