About the Item

An elaborate cabinet with two frieze drawers flanking a carved trefoil motif. Large double doors with carved and shaped recessed panels in the classic French country style that open to two long shelves. The sides have double carved and shaped recessed panels. Raised on a shaped skirt rail with short curved square legs, the front ones with Snail’s Head foot. Along with three keys for the metal escutcheons. Dimensions: 55" wide x 24" deep x 53" high Condition: Please review the detail photos. It is timeworn overall but in a nice antique satin patina. The top is very worn with stains, scratches, old rings, burn marks and some stable age cracks. The left drawer has a stable age crack on the front and a stable age crack in the bottom. The left doors has chipped side edges. Both doors with stains and wear. Some expected worn holes here and there all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is classic Provincial French.
