Antique French Cabinet Carved Oak Black Forest Floral Renaissance Foyer Table. Direct from France, a beautifully hand carved 19th century French “confiturier’ cabinet, which is an extremely versatile size, perfect for placement in any room, and a customer favorite for use as a wine cabinet. The ‘story’ here is all about the carvings that adorn the cabinet from top to bottom! From the top, a carved beveled edge over a carved frieze that features a full-length drawer with carved French scrolls and trim and dimensional rosettes to the corners and dimensional carvings to the sides. Raised and carved scrolls with carved florals below flank the dimensionally carved door panel. With master carver skill, the large door panel features an exquisite floral design, complete with carved French ribbon below. The door panel is framed with carved beveled trim, which is repeated above the wide, carved lozenge lower trim. Important to note these opulent carvings are continued on both sides, which is always a sign of superior craftsmanship.
