Spectacular quality antique French display cabinet, having a serpentine shaped top and hand pained door opening to reveal a gold leaf inside, standing on cabriole legs. This cabinet is designed in the Louis XV, characterized by curved lines, ornate gilt detailing, and decorative motifs. The painting on the cabinet door depicts a romantic scene. It is made of wood, and brass mounts for decoration. It has cabriole legs, which are typical of the period style, and a drawer at the base. It comes with a key to lock the top door but there is no key for the drawer. Just an amazing piece.
