About the Item

Antique Swedish blue cabinet. The cabinet is a genuine Swedish country house furniture from the early 1800s, around 1820. The cabinet is in two parts and made by hand from solid pine. The paint is original with authentic distress and patina of time. The pine underneath shines through in places which adds to the genuine antique character. Working lock and keys. The cabinet is healthy and solid with a well-crafted frame. There is a minor loss of material on the outer corner of the pediment, see detail picture. The lower cabinet measures 47 cm deep and 85 cm tall. The upper measures 120 cm tall and 107 cm wide. Total height is 205 cm.
