About the Item

Art Deco Cabinet with Marble Top, France, 1930s A fine French Art Deco cabinet, dating to the 1930s, distinguished by its geometric silhouette and striking use of materials. The body is veneered in richly figured walnut, the book-matched doors creating a dramatic natural pattern centered with concentric circular carvings. Fluted uprights frame the front, tapering gently to the base where the piece rests on low carved feet. The top is fitted with a boldly patterned marble slab, its surface alive with tones of cream, pink, purple and ochre veining, offering a vivid contrast to the warmth of the wood below. The interior provides useful storage behind the twin doors, making it as practical as it is decorative. A well-proportioned example of French Art Deco craftsmanship, combining architectural form with fine materials. Please contact us for an accurate shipping quote.
