About the Item

Elegant Art Nouveau cabinet from Germany, circa 1895. The piece is veneered in beautifully grained walnut on a solid pine body and displays characteristic Jugendstil design elements such as softly curved lines, refined brass fittings, and a beveled mirror framed by finely shaped columns. Two paneled doors with decorative inlays open to spacious interior compartments, while the lower open shelf provides additional display space. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship of the late 19th century, emphasizing balance, proportion, and graceful natural forms. Carefully restored and hand-polished, the cabinet presents a warm surface patina consistent with age and use. The original brass hardware and mirror glass have been preserved, making this an authentic and refined example of German Art Nouveau furniture that adds timeless sophistication to any interior.
