About the Item
A rare oratory black lacquer refinish showcase with a body surmounted by richly carved cedar and walnut, front and side headboards, glazed and framed door and sides with curvilinear cutouts in the upper segments. Side columns carved and above by eminent acanthus finials.
The set rests on a quadripoid podium structure, with feet sculpted in the shape of lion claws. Interior covered in silk, damask brocade and 3 shelves.It has a base lined with damask fabric where it rests.
